Dedicated to restoring and preserving military vehicles

The Guernsey Military Vehicle Group is dedicated to restoring and preserving military vehicles. The majority of our members own World War Two military vehicles, however some of our vehicles date from the post-war period up to the present day.

Throughout the year we put on various military vehicle displays at local events such as the Guernsey Classic Vehicle Club Show. In addition to this every five years we play a major part in organising the Guernsey Liberation Day Cavalcade.

We also hold social events during the year (not necessarily involving the vehicles), and support the service charities on the Island such as The Royal British Legion and The RAF Association (RAFA).

2017 Poppy Appeal

On Saturday 11th November 2017 GMVG members collected for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal outside various retail outlets around the island. Our thanks to everyone who donated and to the members who gave up their time to collect for the appeal. Once all of the donations have been counted we will let you know out total for this very worthy cause.
