Vehicle History
Built by General Motors Corporation G.M.C one of over 500,000 units produced during WW2. This was the work horse of the Army with a capacity of 2.5 tons designation. This truck carried everything from Troops, Fuel, Food, Ammo, Prisoners and anything wise they could fit in. A very durable and reliable vehicle.
Engine GMC 270 4.4 Litre Petrol 104 Bhp. Crew: 2. Performance: 45mph.
This vehicle has the original wooded cargo floor and the very rare late war mudflaps. It has a rebuild date of 1955 at the Yellow Cab Company before being shipped to Europe for the Marshall Aid plan. This example was sent to Norway where it remain in service until 1989. A very original truck.
